Managing a team of technicians, the Lead Mechanic will provide guidance and support to the team and coordinate with Quality to maintain project management.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned tasks, in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual.
  • Ensure maintenance operations are performed in the appropriate sequence (as determined by the applicable maintenance data), that inspections are requested in an orderly and timely manner, and that maintenance activities are performed according to the appropriate maintenance data and customer requirements
  • Perform Maintenance, troubleshooting and modifications on the following systems: Wheels and Brakes
  • Identify parts and material required to accomplish tasks assigned
  • Ability to identify Alternate P/N’s and PRE/Post Mod P/N’s
  • Report potential airworthy discrepancies to Quality Control
  • Train general technicians on maintenance techniques as required
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Vice President of Quality
  • Work in accordance with established safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment; maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • A&P License desired
  • Aircraft Wheel & Brake experience preferred

    Non-Destructive Inspection Technician (NDI) will perform non-destructive inspections as directed and assigned in accordance with applicable maintenance data and procedural manual.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Carry out assigned tasks, in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual and the NDI procedural manual.
    • Ensure that all test equipment or tools used to make airworthiness determinations are labeled in accordance with applicable manual before use.
    • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
    • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
    • Organize and report test results.
    • Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
    • Work in accordance with established safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment; maintain a neat and orderly work area.
    • A&P License is desired
    • Aircraft Wheel and Brake experience desired
    • Experience or working knowledge of mechanical devices. Prefer basic knowledge of aircraft systems
    • Eddy Current, Fluorescent Particle and Magnetic Particle experience desired
